Meet Katie
Step into the next level of your TRUTH. Allow your being to become WHOLE. Show up for your sacred path in FLOW. Witness your deepest desires MANIFEST. Let’s do it TOGETHER.
I have traveled the world as a student and seeker.
There are a lot of things I could tell you about the depth and legitimacy of subjects I’ve studied, the teachers I have had the honor of learning from, the programs and certificates I have attained, the ceremonies I have participated in, and the gatherings I have attended. And these experiences have absolutely helped shape my role as a healer and have made me a more attuned Priestess.
But those accolades are not what propels me to do this work.
I have been given the humbling opportunity in this life to alchemize my healing into a mystical blueprint for helping others mend themselves and become who they are meant to be.
Lineage
I received my undergraduate degree in Women’s Studies and English from the University of Colorado and went on to attain my Master’s of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2017, I felt a higher calling to learn the lineage of Classical 5 Element Acupuncture and became a student of renowned practitioners Neil Gumenick and Mary McCullough at the Institute for Classical 5 Element Acupuncture in Santa Monica, California.
After living in Southeast Asia, I eagerly broadened my theory base of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and energetic healing. I have studied with the likes of Kiiko Mastumoto, Mikio Sankey, the late Dr. Richard Teh-Fu Tan, Dr. Randine Lewis, and Dr. Jill Blakeway. I have worked at Denver Fertility clinics as an ART acupuncturist, and have served as a labor and delivery doula.
In addition to my work as an acupuncturist and herbalist, I accept one-on-one coaching clients, lead retreats, and teach courses centering on enhancing emotional intelligence and divine femine sovereignty. I am passionate about educating and empowering women about the intersectionality of feminism, spirituality, and our rights as physical beings. I am active in the LGBTQ community, and I am a fierce supporter of legislation that advocates against the over-medicalization of female bodies.
I am a devotee and student of Kundalini yoga and Tibetan Buddhism, and I possess a passion for the healing powers of nature and shamanic plant medicines. I live in the woods in Evergreen, Colorado with my dog Piper. When I’m not flowing in my medicine, I love cooking, writing, wandering around the world, seeing live music, and being outside as often as possible.
